Close by the small harbour village of Poris de Abona and encircled by lofty palm trees stands the attractive Villa Maravilla just a few steps from the sea. This spacious holiday domicile was restored with great care and attention in 2003 and now offers a comfortable holiday home for up to four guests.
With an area of 90m2 it is large enough to give it's guests plenty of scope for diverse interests and is in the direct neighbourhood of the Villa Palmeras. Both villas can also be rented together as they belong to one owner.

Just one glance from the terrace of this brilliant white house gives the guest an impression of the lushness of the vegetation. Many succulents and numerous decorative plants rise above a sea of coloured pebbles. Here one can find complete peace and quiet.

Stone steps leading to the sun-terrace are flanked by flowering bushes. There is a great deal to see in the flower garden in the way of endemic species packed into a small area. A magnificent Bougainvillea spills colour across the walls of the house and can be found all over the island together with the many species of palms.

Neptune rules the area at the rear of the house where the private pool can be found. Here are the comfortable sun-beds where one can relax during the hours of the siesta or maybe if preferred a cool plunge in the pool instead.

The pool area is offers complete privacy. Here one is able to relax without fear of being disturbed.

The blue depths are a true invitation.

The various areas of the house blend elegantly together and typical for the architecture of the Villa Maravilla is the excellent combination of natural stone and white-washed walls. The pool area is an example of this with walls partly built of natural stone.

The numerous alcoves around the house are cosy places to sit whereas the adjacent covered terrace is a flowering paradise. Such a shame that the scent of the flowers cannot be caught in the photograph.
The rooms of the villa have a light and friendly atmosphere, altogether suitable for quiet hours together with friends. Whether in the basket chairs in the alcove or at the long table either on the terrace or in the dining area - there is enough room everywhere for a pleasant get together.
The open-plan live-in kitchen offers all modern comfort. There is every facility for making a delicious meal. A good bottle of wine, fresh fruit - what more can one wish for.

Occasionally there are flowers to be found in the bedrooms but apart from that the ambience has been kept deliberately simple. Both bedrooms in the Villa Maravilla have double beds.
