Holiday cottage, Casa Blanca in Tenerife's north-west.

This attractive Canary holiday cottage is situated on a 6 hectare sized Finca with a fruit plantation and flowering gardens. The Finca at only 200 metres above sea-level grows exclusively organic crops, offers pleasant climatic conditions throughout the whole year and a magnificent panoramic view of the Atlantic.

The individual buildings of the Finca are spread over the large grounds and in the meantime blend in so well that they are scarcely noticeable amongst the high trees and the bushes.

The gardens, which are meticulously kept, give the Finca all the flair of a park with their tall palms and various leaf trees.

A walk around the Finca becomes a fascinating expedition into the wealth of a diverse nature and also the many delicious possibilities that organic farming provides.

In addition to the continual presence of the Atlantic view there is, facing inland, the mountain panorama of Tenerife with its green slopes and steep summits. The Finca is an excellent starting point for trips and hikes in the Parque National Las Cañadas.

The bathers under the guests are also well catered for as a 25 min. walk through the neighbouring valley brings one to Socorro beach. For those who prefer it more convenient there is a large pool to relax in which is heated in winter and 15 min. with the car brings the guest to the next beach.

The Casa Blanca is a most attractive and excellently furnished cottage. The high white painted timber ceilings, the large windows and glass doors all add together to make this an especially light and sunny holiday home.
|
|
The specially selected furniture, such as the large solid softwood table with the matching kitchen cupboard or the antique and finely carved bench, give the house a delightful country character. Combining in their style, the decorations add to the personal note.

The practical connecting door to the terrace and the large glass window with the view of the garden, make the kitchen wonderfully light. The beautiful woodwork on the doors, windows and cupboards, also continued through to the bedrooms and the bathroom, make for a perfect contrast to the otherwise predominate white interior of the rooms.

The kitchen is open to the living room and well equipped. With its large working-surface it offers plenty of room for more than one cook.

The Casa Blanca has two wonderfully cosy bedrooms with antique softwood furniture and raftered ceiling. The well planned bathroom has been fitted with a shower.
