This restored cottage stands in the 4 hectare grounds of a Finca together with 4 other holiday homes and a splendid view of the Atlantic.

A fantastic view can be had from the large roof terrace and barbecue. Here one sits on blustery days protected from the wind. Comfortable wicker chairs and a long bench for guests are to be found in a shady spot behind the cottage, ideal on hot summer days.
|

|
The Finca has various gardens with both decorative bushes and fruit trees such as papaya, avocado and banana. The original cultivation on the Finca, the cacti, have been integrated into the planning of the grounds and so their fruits offer a fresh and welcome addition to a summer menu.

In spite of the various changes during restoration, the Finca has kept an authentic character and gives the appearance of a small hamlet. Narrow paths and steps lead through the gardens to shady seating and sunny terraces.

The swimming pool in the centre of the grounds is for the use of all the guests on the Finca. For relaxation there are a number of sun-beds and wooden benches.

The snug and friendly wine-Bodega on the Finca is an ideal place to drink the local wines or try the Tappas. Here one has a chance to meet the other guests and exchange experiences.

A sauna next to the pool is a welcome addition to a wellness programme and the pool as a refreshing bath afterwards.

The interior furnishings in the Casa Azul have been carefully selected and kept in light sunny colours which are thrown into contrast through the use of an intensive blue in both furniture and decor.
|
|
|
|
The hub of the cottage is the large living-room with open-plan kitchen and dining-table.
The kitchen is well equipped with oven, four hot plates and a number of electrical appliances such as juice extractor, toaster and coffee-machine. Six persons can be seated around the large dining-table. Sitting cosily on the sofa in the living-room it is possible to enjoy the view of the landscape and the Atlantic. Here there is both a sat-TV and a stereo.

Planned for four persons the Casa Azul has two double-bedded rooms with bathrooms en-suite.

The bedrooms are comfortable and light and fitted out with good quality furniture.

The bathrooms have each a shower, WC, bidet and wash-basin plus a hairdryer and two bathrobes. In addition to the bathrooms there is an extra guest toilet.
