The Ecohotel La Correa, close to Altavista de Arona in the south of Tenerife, is the ideal hotel for nature fans to get together. Located on an 11,000 m² Finca, it is highly valued by hikers and para gliders. This is not surprising as the countryside around the hotel shows a truly fantastic unspoilt landscape. This Ecohotel has been built in a classic Canary country-house style. Timber, natural stone and the delicate yellow washed façade blend harmoniously into nature's backcloth. The terrace on the upper floor is easily reached via a flight of open stairs and here on the large balustrade, a tiled overhang roof offers shade from the sun's rays.

The terrace has something of the character of a theatre box as from here one has an unspoilt view of a fantastic volcanic landscape.

The entrance leading to the hotel is quite delightful in itself. Between rosemary and flowering trees a stone-flagged path leads to the very attractive lodging. Here the guests are able to retire to their own accommodation or if preferred, the salon offers the ideal place for a cosy chat. In the dining room there is space enough for an exchange of information. Bookworms are able to retire to the garden with their book or use the facility of the comfortable reading-room.

In La Correa the guests value the typical Canary country-house style. This can be seen in the furnishings and decoration. Under the ceiling's rustic beams in the dining-room one can sit and enjoy the homely atmosphere.
