The rugged volcanic landscape, an unusual and almost completely endemic plant world, clear air and brilliant blue sky, make each outing in the National Park Las Cañadas unforgettable. Weather, wind and water have left an indelible stamp on the landscape.Today we can see bizarre examples forming the remains of the gigantic volcano, once with a proud height of 15 km.

Throughout this Parador in the mountains, one is aware of a sense of peace and security. The Parador's bar is just the right place to plan the next 'summit storming' on the Teide, here the hectic of everyday life is forgotten. In the restaurant one can be spoiled with the regional cuisine. Fresh fish, casseroled rabbit in red wine or kid in milk in addition to an international menu. The concept is to use the excellent local produce as much as possible.
