The old country house, together with its large high vaulted antique water cistern has been converted into unique and stylish holiday accommodation. Sensitive improvements have taken into account the materials used and also the unusual character of the buildings throughout the planning. Years of mineral deposits have resulted in the colourful structure given to the walls of the cistern – a fascinating background to the carefully chosen furnishings. The height of the room has been broken by the use of antique solid timber rafters creating a room of individual character.

The very attractive bedroom has been tastefully furnished and has two large beds. The large window, with its view of the flowering garden, brings the sunshine into the room. Timber flooring and the rustic vaulted ceiling give the room its individual character.

The open staircase divides the large room and connects the different levels. It takes you from the top floor of the restored country house, with its large live-in kitchen, into the spacious living-room of the “Antigua” and from there to the other side and up to the open bedroom level..

The kitchen is light and sunny due to the clever use of typical Canary small paned windows along the complete garden side of the house. The fine dark woods of the furniture and the roof rafters form a dramatic contrast to the gleaming white of the walls both inside and out.

Within the house a palm tree: As seen through the arch of a window the perfect symbiosis of interior and exterior design.
