The spacious live-in kitchen is a harmonious mixture of modern lifestyle, Moroccan interior and an established country way of living. In no way does this mixture of styles distract from the original clear concept. A shimmering emerald green stone floor leads straight to what is for family and friends the heart of the house: around the large table there are comfortable seats for six persons.

This enchanting atmosphere has an oriental touch about it. Attributes, reminiscent of 1001 nights, are to be found throughout this sensitively restored old farmhouse.

The high whitewashed walls are a pleasure to the eye and give an extra dimension to this generously planned villa. Even when both walls and floors are only there as a background, they nevertheless have a strong aura influencing the excellent overall design of the interior.

The large lounge with its comfortable seating is extremely snug. An attractive Kelim adds the perfect splash of colour to contrast with the dark shining floor and light furniture.

Not to be seen in the picture is the open fireplace which, combined with lighted candles, makes the room cosy during the occasional cool evenings.

Rough natural stone and patterns in fine mosaics turn the bathroom into a small work of art. As everywhere in the Villa Dos Palmeras one recognizes also here, the special talent that determined the unusual interior design.

With this delightfully renovated farmhouse the English couple Steffi and John give their guests a very special holiday idyll. Beyond this, they convey a lifestyle that apparently is strongly influenced by a passion for artistic flair.
