The Casa Conil is just a few steps away from the historic village of Conil on the south east coast of Lanzarote. The holiday house was once part of a farming Finca and has been lovingly restored with great sensibility regarding old building traditions.
|

The patio, the characteristic Spanish interior courtyard offering absolute privacy, is a classic feature of a typical Canary country house. The Casa Conil boasts two of them.

The exterior of the Casa Conil gives the appearance of a small fortress. Massive stone walls surround the house and provide welcome shade in a sun-drenched climate. The old green wooden door is now the entrance to a private holiday paradise.

|
A large oval private pool invites recreation and relaxation at the centre of a sun-terrace planted with abundant greenery. Stone seats and planters are integrated into the thick white walls whilst natural stone acts as attractive accent pieces.
|
|
|
The sheltered exterior has a few pleasant surprises in store for the guest. A delightful garden grill with a cosy dining area is an invitation to el fresco evening meals. Naturally, there are generous cooking and eating facilities within the Casa Conil.

The perfectly equipped professional kitchen has been kept in old country-style tradition.

Up to eight persons have room around the rustic wooden table in the large lounge. Two shallow steps lead through the glass and timber door straight into the interior courtyard.

|
The communal lounge is a large open and cosily furnished room, spacious enough for everyone to find a private spot. For this purpose there is comfortable soft cushioned seating.

The many colourful elements are immediately obvious. The courage to colour becomes an excellent compliment to the rustic ambience, beautifully accented by the old beams of the timber ceiling.

|
The blue bedroom with its large brass bed becomes a personal refuge. The antique wooden door leads into the rear of the courtyard.

The two other bedrooms have a separate bathroom with two wash basins and a walk-in shower. Here one can also witness a tasteful mix between Moroccan flair and rustic Canary country style.

This exclusive bedroom is complimented by a tasteful en-suite Moroccan style bathroom.
