Built around 1900 in the classic traditional style of Lanzarote, the low white buildings of the Hotel Casa del Embajador are grouped around an open inside courtyard with a flowering garden and shade spending palm trees. The individual houses were originally brought together by a diplomat to form a single unit. He had accommodated the first tourists on Lanzarote.

|
Located in Playa Blanca, this small, charming and exclusively furnished hotel next to the sea offers magnificent panoramic views of the wide expanse of the Atlantic, the harbour of Puerto Calero and the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

The large glass doors and windows are shaded by a wide pergola. This gives the house, with its typical canary wooden columns, a certain lightness. A Moroccan influence is obvious in the turquoise coloured decorations and the tower-like chimneys.

All of the 12 double rooms, as well as the exquisite suite with its small writing-room, are beautifully restored and furnished in taste and with style. The Art-Nouveau elements that remain show the architectural taste of the time when the house was built.
