	The cottage Finca Arecida on La Palma is a about 100 years old country house, built of natural stone. From the large terrace with pool one has a wonderful panorama of the Atlantic. The pool, which uses a sea-water plant, and the garden are beautifully kept. Two large palms shade the front of the house. Furthermore decorative and useful tropical plants can be found in the garden. On the sun-facing terrace is a seating area, sun- beds and a barbecue. New: covered terrace with panoramic view.

	This delightful house has been both renovated and enlarged in the style of a canary country-house. Window frames, doors and the roof timbers have been custom-made of wood. Terrace and paths are of natural stone, the cottage and exterior walls have been carefully constructed of stone. The interior furnishings of the cottage are robust and attention to special details, such as the woodburning oven, give the house character.

	The original cottage, together with the lounge/dining room and open-plan kitchen forms the centre of the living accommodation. The exposed roof timbers, the large window with seating and the teak shelving have been restored and thus kept. Next to the big dining-table is a comfortable seating arrangement. Moreover the cottage has two bedrooms, each with a double-bed and two bathrooms.
