Unusually lovely Canarian holiday home in the light pine forest of Caldera de Taburiente


	Holiday home Casa Roberto: Casa Roberto is wonderfully situated in the middle of a pine forest above El Paso. The elaborately built natural stone house reveals many Canarian elements, such as the projecting roof, the shape of the windows and doors. The whole house has been lovingly designed and implemented with traditional craftsmanship. Casa Roberto lies in well-kept grounds with various gardens and a private tennis court, together with the holiday home Villa El Pinar.


	Terraces and seating areas have been placed around Casa Roberto, so that one can choose between shady or sunny spots, depending on the position of the sun and personal preference. A marvellous setting to enjoy nature and the peace of La Palma. The extensive 5 hectare grounds are ideal for a holiday with children. The converted loft with its separate outside staircase is available for independent family members.


	The interior design is in accordance with the high standard of the house. The tasteful furniture has been enhanced by antiques and the high wooden gables add a rustic note.


	With glass doors leading to the terraces, the spacious lounge is very light and airy. The large dining table can seat up to 8 people. Next to the kitchen there is another table which can be used for quick snacks between meals. Casa Roberto does have central heating but the evenings by the fireside are particularly cosy. Wood can be gathered in the extensive grounds or it can be ordered and delivered.


	The lovely country kitchen is equipped with an antique-looking cooker, where one can grill over an open fire or cook on the traditional gas stove. A modern oven and a large fridge round off the equipment. Casa Roberto has two bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub downstairs. The loft conversion sleeps 3 people and has a separate small bathroom.
