Here in the north-west of the green island, you can enjoy the tranquillity and seclusion of surroundings that are rustic through and through.

Casa Nieves has been built in natural stone in accordance with traditional Canaries building methods.

The deep colours and blossoms of nature surround the whole property. In spring, the almond trees with their delicate blossoms tower above succulents, spurge and cacti. The deep orange aloe is a cure-all in the Canaries and is found in almost every garden.

Paved in natural stone and with large glass doors, the entrance area is aesthetically a feast for the eyes.

It’s lovely to sit right beside the pool with a view over the green hills of Tijarafe onto the vastness of the Atlantic. Teak sun-loungers are ready and waiting for you to sunbathe on. In the hot midday sun, you can cool off under the shady canopy and naturally in the shimmering, turquoise pool. Operated with a salt-water plant and without chemical additives, it’s a real treat for the skin.

The interior of Casa Nieves has intentionally been kept clear and spacious. The high roof trusses made of pale, solid wood open the room upwards. The combined living and dining room with its open kitchen offers lots of scope for expansion. Everybody likes to come together here round the large dining table.

The barbecue on the adjoining terrace acts as an extension to the well-equipped kitchen with lots of working space. Here you can cook in typical Canaries style on the open fire.

The colours of the walls are exceptionally pleasant. Warm red and orange shades harmonise very beautifully with wood, natural stone and terracotta floors.

The floor-to-ceiling glass doors let lots of light into the inside of the rooms.

There’s a comfortable sofa on which you can sit and read, listen to music or browse through the international TV channels.

On chilly evenings, you can curl up by the fireside.

Cosy tranquillity reigns in the large bedrooms. The shimmering wooden floor catches the last rays of the beautiful evening sun. Snug duvets keep you warm and cosy at night.

The two spacious bedrooms of Casa Nieves are each fitted with a large double bed. An additional children’s bed will happily be provided for your offspring.

If you want, you can get up and dive straight into the refreshing pool. After all, it’s right behind the large French windows.

If you enjoy having hot showers, then you are well advised to use the large transparent shower cubicle. That way you can still have a view of everything even when you are in the shower.

Each bedroom has its own beautifully fitted bathroom, one with a shower, the other with a bath.

However, if it’s a scented bubble bath you prefer, then get in the comfortable corner bath. If you want, you can let the bubbles foam and swirl all round you here. A small whirlpool is built into the bathtub.
