The original 200 year old cottage on La Palma, built of natural stone, was renovated and extended in 1998. For the conversion carefully selected natural and building materials of similar age were used; e.g. the roof covered with antique terracotta tiles and for the roof trusses, doors and window frames reclaimed wood was used.

The cottage, completely detached and in its own grounds, is situated 500 metres above sea level. It allows magnificent panoramic views of the Atlantic and the mountains of the National Park Caldera de Taburiente. The Barranco Jurado nature reserve, stretching from the sea into the mountains of La Palma, lies at the foot of Casa Lomo Felipe.

Teak garden furniture provides outdoor seating. Outdoor dining accommodation is to be found on the shady veranda fronting the cottage as well as a sunny patio.

Adjacent to the kitchen-cum-living room, complete with a generous dining table and an open fire place is the bedroom with bathroom en-suite. There is sufficient space for an extra child’s bed which can be provided on request.

For the interior fitments of the cottage natural materials were exclusively used.
