The Casa Estrella is a particularly well restored and furnished holiday cottage in the mountain region of Punta Gorda with a magnificent view of the countryside and the Atlantic. Using high quality natural materials this old country cottage was tastefully renovated and extended. The doors and windows are made of reclaimed timber and the roofs were redone using antique hand-made roof tiles.

The holiday cottage is beautifully embedded in greenery and surrounded by almond trees and fragrant shrubs. By the addition of an enclosing wall the cottage has been given an intimate and sheltered courtyard.

Natural stone has been used to pave the terraces and paths around the Casa Estrella.

The Casa Estrella has been exceptionally beautifully and charmingly furnished. All wooden fitments as well as roofs, windows and doors have been custom-made using reclaimed timber.
|
|
|
|
The large windows and glazed doors make the spacious live-in kitchen with its round wooden table and comfortable armchairs, wonderfully light. The excellently equipped kitchen has a generous working surface and attractive wooden cupboards that make cooking or just watching, a source of pleasure. Four persons have plenty of room around the round dining-table with the cosy wicker chairs to enjoy a meal or just sit chatting whilst drinking a glass of the local wine.

For the cooler evenings an iron stove makes for cosy warmth with no charge being made for the fire-wood. Cork flooring which is so pleasant underfoot is to be found in all the living accommodation and the bedrooms.

Die Casa Estrella has both a double-bedded room and a twin-bedded room. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC, bidet, washbasin and a gas-heater for the cooler hours of the morning.
