This spacious, comfortable and well appointed hotel Parador de La Palma is situated in a quiet rural location above the historic capital of Santa Cruz and boasts spectacular panoramic views of both the wide expanse of the Atlantic and the mountains of La Palma. In accordance with the philosophy of the Parador Hotels, the hotel complex has been carefully planned taking into account both the landscape and ecological factors and including traditional canary stylish elements.

Typical canary elements, such as the glazing on the balcony at the entrance of the hotel, adds a personal charm to the buildings.

The individual building elements have been deliberately fashioned to evoke the appearance of a structure that has developed naturally. In keeping with tradition is the typical canary timber window framing.

|
Both heart and hub of the complex is a luxuriantly planted patio which is bordered by a covered walk connecting the various areas of the hotel. Informal seating, together with the successful combination of garden and architecture, guarantee a delightful spot for stimulating leisure hours.

All rooms in the accommodation wings of the Parador have high glass doors which lead onto spacious balconies. These show typical canary timber-work and are furnished with high quality wooden furniture. From here the guest enjoys a fantastic view across the garden and the large swimming pool, the diversity of La Palma's landscape and the Atlantic.

The guest rooms of the hotel are to be found in three accommodation wings which are placed behind each other and so positioned that all the rooms have a view of the ocean. Fronting the complex is the Edeficio Blanco, behind the Edeficio Salmon and then the three storied Edeficio Rosa completing the ensemble.

A patio is used in a true traditional sense as a meeting-place and for relaxation. Such is the patio of the Parador de la Palma with its wide, shade spending canopies and a large variety of tropical-like plants growing around a gently splashing fountain at its centre.
