Built by a Portuguese around 100 years ago it gave shelter to Lucia, a refugee from the Spanish civil war who was looking for a safe refuge on El Hierro. Since inheriting the property it has been lovingly restored by the owner, turning it into a country cottage where one can relax in the tranquil surroundings and enjoy the magnificent view.
