Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Gomera and El Hierro: the 7 islands form the Canarian archipelago for your perfect holidays with Las Casas Canarias

Las Casas Canarias offers all kinds of holiday rentals on the seven islands. The Canary Islands are part of Africa and are situated in the Atlantic, just under 100 kilometers off the coast of Morocco. The 7 islands are, however, part of the seven Spanish islands and therefore the European Union. Since the possession of the islands by Castilian in the 15th century, the Spanish culture, language and way of life have been largely prevalent in the Canary Islands. Typical Canarian traditions are also the result of Spanish influence. It is therefore not surprising that the Spaniards themselves chose the Canary Islands as one of their favorite holiday destinations.

Gran Canaria and the islands for holidays on the beach

The 7 islands of the Canaries surprise with an incredible variety of climatic zones and landscapes. Each island has its own characteristics and it is advisable to make an accurate picture before choosing the preferred holiday island. Fuerteventura has beautiful, golden sand beaches paired with turquoise shimmering sea, a dream for all water sportsmen and bathers. Fuerteventura also has a lot to offer under water, making it a popular destination for divers from all over the world.

The neighboring island of Lanzarote is also called the Island of Fire, where the volcanic origin of the archipelago is revealed, the hot volcanic stream of the Timanfaya is still hot. The artist and architect César Manrique has developed a very special architecture to the extraordinary landscape of the island.

Gran Canaria, the third largest of the islands, offers a wide range of different landscapes and is therefore a popular destination for those who want to combine beach holidays with other activities: in the interior of the island are vast mountainous landscapes with almost untouched nature Palma's real big city life and the south with the famous sandy beaches is a perfect vacation paradise.

Tenerife and the islands for holidays in nature

Tenerife is the largest and most famous of the Canary Islands. Its reputation as a pure bathing island will not do justice to it, just like Gran Canaria, it lives from the variety of different landscapes, the volcanic landscape of Teide is unique in the center of the island. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of the island and also the provincial capital, which is responsible for the 3 "small" island of the Canary Islands: La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro.

The three islands, also called the "green islands" are characterized by incredible plant diversity and spectacular landscapes. Famous among others is the Caldera de Taburiente on La Palma, a collapsed volcano crater of up to 7 km wide, and the laurel forest of La Gomera, a prehistoric jungle with ferns and beards. These islands offer all nature lovers a unique holiday destination with exceptional landscapes, unique flora and the clearest starry sky in the world. With Las Casas Canarias you will have a wide variety of holiday rentals to choose from in any of the Canary Islands.
